Personality :: Life Experience :: Education :: Training
I am a certified evidential medium working internationally and trained internationally by some of the best mediums in the world. I hold a graduate level education and a wide variety of experiences. My education is in the social sciences, journalism and criminal justice. I've been a waitress to a reporter to an editor to a publisher. I've spent the last 15 years or so in public affairs/relations.
I've been broke and I've been comfortable. I'm a military Veteran, a mother, a mom of four with one in spirit, an animal lover with too many to feed, a Western Hippie, a motorcycle rider, and more.
Whatever your challenges are right now, they are not only valid, they are begging to be recognized and faced.
My goal is to help you re-imagine your life. With experience in Life Coaching and a vast history of fixing problems, my individualized positivity approach will help you attain your goals. Taking the reins on your life means getting support from the Spirit World and me, but it also means that you're ready and willing to take your own personal development to the next level.
As a professionally trained and experienced life coach, I have the tools and understanding to help you to create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self.
Committing to a healthier lifestyle is just that – a commitment, and it’s a big one that will take a lot of dedication. My commitment is to provide you with accountability, understanding and support.
I've always been a cheerleader and a coach for others. I've been fixing problems and listening to others since I was five-years-old (long story). I'm the go-to for "What if" or "How to" and that can be a lonely place to be if you're also struggling.
And then, at an age I will not disclose, I realized it was time to listen to my own issues and work on my own problems. It was not an easy transition. I left my marriage of more than 2.5 decades, I moved around for work and job promotions, and I started erecting boundaries around what I would and would not accept - from family, from friends, from work, from life. Some of them pushed back, some reminded me of every mistake I've ever made in life (gas lighting), some treated me like they child they never let me stop being (extended family), and some got on board and decided to "Roll with Spirit" with me. And to those people, and you know who you are, I love you.
I also realized through this empowerment phase that I had denied myself and who I really am for so long, I didn't even know myself, let alone where I was headed. Enter Mediumship and Tarot.
As a person with a graduate education in the social sciences, journalism and criminal justice, this new interest and study in the metaphysical realm was a scary "out of my comfort zone" activity (even though I'd had many unexplained experiences since childhood).
As I grew, mentally, intellectually, and spiritually, I put my skills and abilities on paper - the pros, the cons, the still need to learn versus what I already know - and I realized I'm so much more powerful than I ever gave myself credit for. I'm a kindhearted person who loves to help others. I love to see other succeed, even at my own expense (I'm still working on that).
Sound familiar? I find in my coaching that most of us have underestimated ourselves. We've lived on the breadcrumbs of shame, guilt, regret, bitterness and more because we either didn't know better, or we couldn't figure out how to shake the blues. We are our own worse critics and gas lighters struggling with the monkey mind of everyday life.
If you're ready to get happy and Roll with Spirit too, let's talk. What I do is more coaching than "reading" - Tarot is fine but if you don't leave with a plan, have you really accomplished much? I want to get to know you, help you and help you create a plan - not give you a plan - help you create a plan.
With Blessings, MaryAnna
Me in all my non-filtered, non-glamorous self. My dog, Tuck, is in the back, he's Border Collie and Hanging Tree (a cow dog blend of sassy).
I'm a no-nonsense type of person who is painfully pragmatic. It would seem that I would not be a medium, but I am, and that dichotomy is one of my best features as an intuitive coach.
1980-ish, my Mom on Rosie in Garden Farms, California. My mother died of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 1995 and I was her caregiver. She hung the moon for me as a child and when a medium brought her through with messages of love and apologies, it was better than any therapy I'd ever had.
I grew up in SLO County, California and moved away to marry a military man and join the Army myself. After a couple of years in the Army, I got out honorably and started a family. Many states and many years later, I am now in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I work primarily as a writer/editor.
My mom, myself and my dog, Willie, at the beach in Morro Bay, California.
My life isn't perfect. I think imperfect people make the best friends and teachers because they have the empathy needed to understand other's hardships and insecurities. I have three children and another one in spirit. I was always fairly non-verbal about my miscarriage until years later, when I realized that soul was on the other side. We all have things we regret or that we would change if we co
Animal communication is a part of my mediumship. We are given a certain amount of time with the purest of souls and it hurts when they have to leave. My dog Jesse passed over this year and it was incredibly painful. He was a great companion.
Divorced now, my passion remains my children, my animals and making this life a bit better for us all.
